Anniversary Pt 2

Although our wedding anniversary was last Friday, Jayne wanted to celebrate today. Basically, she wanted to treat me to a dinner and today was her payday. We went out to TGI Fridays in Crawley: maybe not the most intimate and romantic place in town, but we both like the food. Mind you I was a bit worried whether my big triple temporary filling would survive the Jack Daniels chicken… fortunately I remembered to chew on the other side.

Still no job news, and still no cheque from Southern Housing.

There was one good bit of job news though. Jayne has been interviewing people for the post of Premises Officer at the local community centre and had the last candidate today, so now the panel can decide who to make an offer to. That means we will soon no longer have to remember to go and open up the hall for hirers and lock up afterwards. That was getting to be a bit of a pain.
