I decided not to go and watch Crawley Town play Northwich Victoria at home today, and instead watched Barnet play Dagenham & Redbridge on Sky Sports. Good job too – the Crawley game was a 0-0 draw while Barnet won 5-0. It was good to see Conference League football on TV though. They are showing the Accrington Stanley game during the week… should be worth watching. Crawley are one point above AS at the moment.
That was just a starter for the main course – England v. Wales. A decent result, even if it was not the walkover some people thought it might be. Happily, Beckham was on form and scored a cracking goal. Nearly as good as one of the ones Barnet scored.
