On Sunday night I ordered a new computer from Dell. I ordered it online and today it was delivered – an evening delivery which was an option given. Why don’t more companies do that? It was a good deal. £341 for the computer and 15-inch TFT screen.
I have had it out of the box, set it up, deleted all the AOL/Tiscali/etc. internet connections, created some accounts, and put it back in the box. It is going to be a Christmas present for the younger boy. He has a PC but its one of my really old cast-offs and can’t really do much. He is not getting the TFT monitor though: that is now on Jayne’s computer which makes the living room look a lot tidier. He will have her old monitor, which is only a couple of years old and better than the old junk he has now.
Its a very nice computer. When my one becomes past it I will consider a Dell for myself.
