I don’t know if there has been trouble with this site, or just with my internet connection, but I couldn’t update this the other day. But then I have been well under the weather with a heavy cold all weekend, and still a bit rough so was a lot more concerned about just laying down.
Although I still felt bad today I went to work because I would probably get into trouble if I took more time off sick (they count the number of times you are off over 52 weeks. I have not had many days off but they were several absences of one or two days. If I had just been ill once for 6 weeks it would have been OK.) I reckon I now have to avoid being ill for several months – or drag myself in no matter how sick I am.
Besides, I am starting to enjoy my job again, so I want to be in there anyway.
