I have been trying to get artistic with my new freeware photo editing software. Its not easy for me – I really do have no artistic talent at all. Maybe I will improve with practice?
he first fruits of this endevour are a bit of a tweak to the photo on my profile (must take another picture soon. I have grown my hair back now so the photo is not really accurate any more.)
The next one is this little gem. I took this picture in the American bookstore in Kalverstraat, Amsterdam in February this year. We were looking for new books by Richard Laymon or Dean Koontz for Jayne, or Dave Barry for me and came across a bin with a fantastic Ronseal (it does exactly what it says on the tin) label. I didn’t manage to compose the shot very well as I was trying to take the picture discreetly.
I made an attempt to remove the background and soften the edges. Its pathetic compared to what you find on Fark or Worth 1000 but its a start.
I reckon it would make a good piece of tongue-in-cheek artwork for the top of a naff porn site…
