West Ham’s finish to the season is starting to make Laura Moffatt’s election victory in Crawley look like a stroll in the park! After flirting around the play-off places for months and dropping in and out of the top six places, the Hammers have finally managed to scrape in at the last minute by beating Watford, while Reading lost.
I still have this sinking feeling that we are just postponing the misery like we did last year against Palace at Cardiff. But there is still hope. Just.
On the subject of football, I have just been catching up with John Nicholson’s column on football365.com. Fantastic stuff. John is not an ex-player or manager, he is just a northerner who loves his football and writes bizarre comparisons between some aspect of the game an his experiences as a 3rd division rock & roller on the piss.
