While we were at the Interfaith launch we were told that Eugene, who contested the Pound Hill seat with Jayne at the county elections in May, entered the Big Brother house last night.
Now this puts me in a difficult position: normally I would do almost anything to avoid Big Brother, on the other hand it will be fun to see someone we know on there, even if it is a bit cringeworthy.
Eugene is a great lad, and was brilliant during the election, especially as he knew he would not win in such a safe Tory seat. However, he is a self-confessed anorak when it comes to radio, and certainly different to the extroverts who (I am told) normally appear on BB (as I believe it is called).
Eugene’s mum is a Labour member of the county council, and I don’t know what she thinks about it all. Apparently he has been deprived of clothes and is stuck with two girls, one a model and the other a huge-chested slapper, both limited to fig-leaf underwear.
I do hope he has more luck than he had on May 5th!
If any Labour bloggers out there have a secret Big Brother habit, they can now say they are watching it out of solidarity with one of our future politicians.
