Every week I check the ‘Invisibles’ quiz at FilmWise (there is a new one every Monday). How it works is that they take still shots from 8 films and photoshop out the people, leaving just the background, furniture and clothes. From my own primitive attempts at art on the PC I can see that it is an extremely difficult thing to do.
Every week I am lucky if I can guess one or two of the films. Once I managed to identify 4 of the films in one week.
Every week I check the answers to the previous week’s quiz and find that there are always dozens of people who got all 8 films correct. Most weeks I find that several of the films I have never even heard of, let alone seen, and I really can’t work out how these people (and quite a few of them crop up very week) do it.
This week (quiz No 235) I am so frustrated because I have actually managed to get 7 out of 8 and just don’t have a clue about the last one.
If you have never seen the Filmwise Invisibles quiz, you are really missing out. Have a look now and catch up on the archive of older quizzes.
