Radio enthusiast, son of Crawley and recent Labour county council candidate Eugene is now favourite to win Big Brother according to the bookies.
Its a bit distasteful that we have to look to such a nasty programme to put us on the map, but we will take what we can get!
I have to say though, the things you can bet on seem to be wide open to abuse. For example, you can get odds of 16/1 that Davina will wear a green dress for Friday night’s show. Isn’t it going to be a little bit tempting for Davina to pop into the betting shop on her way to the green dress shop?
Or you can bet on what song Big Brother will play to wake the housemates up on the final day, with odds of 33/1 for U2’s Beautiful Day. Its going to be even easier for some Channel 4 technician or producer to make a small fortune on this one… although I wouldn’t recognise Davina if I woke up next to her she is apparently well-known and the bookies would probably recognise her but the producers could wander in, place a few hundred quid on Big Brother to play Iron Butterfly’s In-A-Gadda-Da-Vita or Spizzenergi’s Where’s Captain Kirk? and really clean up!
