A definition of frustration

On Monday night I gave in and ordered a Fuji E550 digital camera from Amazon. While I was doing that, I looked at some of the accessories which were available on what they call Amazon Marketplace.

This is other people selling goods through the Amazon front end, but sometimes cheaper. There were people doing the charging cradle for the camera and a 256Mb memory card for about half the price of Amazon so I took a chance and ordered them as well.

It was very convenient, buying three things from three different companies on one order. As I could have predicted, the accessories both arrived today, from two different places, but I am still waiting for the camera itself.

I could have paid the extra few quid for express delivery, but I was not in a hurry – but now I am: there is only so much playing you can do with a charging cradle on its own! Here were the last couple of photos I took with the old camera. The subterranean one is a bit dull, so I will have to take another one with the E550 – it is supposed to be better in low-light conditions.
