At the campaign meeting the other night I mentioned that I did not, officially, know the result of my interview to join the local government panel. I was told I should have had a letter ages ago.
This morning we found the letter on the kitchen floor, behind a chair.
Todays lesson is that however chaotic the Labour party may seem at times it is nothing compared to Chez Skuds.
Anyway, thats confirmed that I have passed stage one in the long journey to get selected for a safe Tory seat and fight a brave losing battle next year.
