I imagine I am not the only person to find this story deeply disturbing. The story of these junior nazis was mentioned in passing on the BBC News website today as a result of being in one of the national newspapers, so I did a quick search on Google and sort of wish I hadn’t.
“Eleven and 12 years old,” he said, “I think that’s the perfect age to start grooming kids and instill in them a strong racial identity.”
Thats a quote from the boss of their record label. But the girls’ well-balanced and responsible parents obviously instilled a sense of civic duty in the twins because:
Like many children across the country, Lamb and Lynx decided to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina – the white ones.
Here’s a picture of the little darlings…
The girls featured in a TV documentary by Louis Theroux, which somehow passed me by when it was shown. Had I seen it I would probably have assumed it was some Day Today-type spoof, but it looks like it really is true, and not everyone disapproves.
I am starting to feel a lot happier about the incitement to racial and religious hatred bill already!
Don’t blame the children though – they are the product of their parents’ opinions and genuinely do not know any better, which is perhaps the saddest thing about the whole mess.
