I have always liked to think of myself as rational and level-headed, but I am beginning to think I should be joining the tin-foil helmet brigade as I am starting to have suspicions that something with no confirmed scientific explanation is actually happening.

I went to the council meeting tonight, and boy was I wrong about a couple of things.
First of all, the gasworks site is not withdrawn completely, but deferred until a planning judicial review thingy is complete for the North-East sector.
In reality this means indefinitely, but strictly speaking it would mean that is hasn’t gone [...]

Vanity publishing at its worst) although I'm not particularly promoting anything, just describing and generally rambling for my own entertainment, but the whole Internet thing is such a grey area you have to be on the safe side don't you? There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
...and the same goes for anything the sister writes here, not that she is writing much: come on Jane - pull your finger out!
