Is it too cold to canvass?
Thats how it turned out yesterday. I begrudged the tiny amount of time I had to spend at the front door paying the milkman, so I can imagine voters not being too keen on standing at their front door, letting all the heat out, to chat about their political preferences.
In the end we had little choice as most party members had obviously decided it was too cold to go out, and the few of us who did turn out spent the time delivering a load of letters instead.

There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
...and the same goes for anything the sister writes here, not that she is writing much: come on Jane - pull your finger out!
