I feel a bit better about my campaign now. Today I got my election address to another 20% of the houses in Pound Hill North, and someone picked up a whole pile for some local volunteers/members to deliver. I also spoke to a couple more members of the Pound Hill party this evening and will drop some stuff off with them tomorrow if I can.
When all that is delivered it will be almost 70% of the houses, so if I can get out once more I should be able to push it up to 90% easily. I don't know if that is the sort of coverage we normally get for local elections – but it should be.
Of course the sensible thing to have done this afternoon would have been to go to bed and have a nap – I am working all night tonight so I am really going to be out of it by the morning. I'll probably fall asleep on the train home and end up in Portsmouth.
