Its what I would have chosen.

Apparently I belong in Amsterdam. I try to avoid all those quiz things, but often give in to temptation, as I did with this one called what European city do you belong in? from Blogthings.

The thing is, this one has got it exactly right. There are a few places in the World where I have felt at home, or felt I could happily live there – New York, Sydney and Paris for example. Living a quiet life in the hills of Corfu has an appeal too, but I have always felt really at home in Amsterdam.

I know that its fabled reputation for tolerance has been taking a bit of a battering lately, but I do still like it. I’m glad the computer didn’t come up with Paris.
