I keep forgetting this is on and nearly missing it. Tonight was a real treat.
Paul Simon did a couple of songs, including Graceland. David Gilmour played something from his new solo album, with two-thirds of Crosby, Stills & Nash on backing vocals, and wrapped the show up with Arnold Layne. The surprise act was a band called Nacao Zumbi. Never heard of them before, but they were fantastic – I have a soft spot for bands with loads of percussion.
Arnold Layne was a real high spot for me, but didn't Rick Wright look old?
