We are now getting into the season of carnivals, festivals and fetes. With all the coverage of T in the Park, anticipation for the Croydon World Party, and adverts for umpteen different festivals a much more local event crept up on me today.

Wow. Relegation and a 30-point deduction. At least now when we look at Crawley Town’s 10-point deduction for the new season in the Conference we can tell ourselves that it could be worse, although somehow I suspect Juve will cope a bit better than the Red Devils.

Vanity publishing at its worst) although I'm not particularly promoting anything, just describing and generally rambling for my own entertainment, but the whole Internet thing is such a grey area you have to be on the safe side don't you? There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
...and the same goes for anything the sister writes here, not that she is writing much: come on Jane - pull your finger out!
