On the basis that anyone who wants to be a politician should automatically be disqualified, this bloke in America deserves to be elected by a landslide.
He is actively campaigning for the electorate to vote for his opponent and has been phoning his friends to tell them not to vote for him, but still got through the first round of voting.
The only question is this: when the inevitable film is made of this story, who will play Mr. Herold? I can imagine there are major film studios keeping their fingers crossed that he will win as it will make a much better story.
