Today I learned how you are supposed to pronounce ‘Moleskine’. I also found out that it is, strictly speaking, a proper noun, and I found out what it is.
I have seen it written down and today realised that I didn’t actually know what it was, so I looked it up.
Apparently is is pronounced mol-a-skeen-a as it is an Italian brand name for a type of notebook.
As a bonus I found out that moleskin is a material which does not involve moles.
