Christmas Television

December 14th, 2006 · Posted by Skuds in Life · 3 Comments · Life

I see that the Christmas Radio Times is on sale. I’m amazed it is still going in spite of its monopoly on printing TV listings getting removed years ago, and the EPG on digital televisions being a lot easier to use.

I don’t think I will be buying it. However much it costs it is too much for what I need. I think my needs would be adequately met by a Post-It note telling me when the Doctor Who special and the This Life reunion are on…

The BBC adaptation of ‘Ruby in the Smoke’ is the thing I don’t want to miss.

It’s worth knowing what’s on so you can avoid the risk of turning the telly on and seeing something awful – like Barrymore in panto – by accident..

Everytime I turn the TV on it is already tuned into Pokemon or something dreadful like that already.

Never heard of Ruby in the smoke. I lead a sheltered life.
