The other night Arsenal beat Manchester United with a very very late goal. The parallels with a certain other Arsenal game this season are irresistible:
- Both teams really needed the points for various reasons
- It was looking like a draw was inevitable
- Game stolen at the last gasp by the home team
- Manager of scoring team goes berserk, jumping around beside the pitch, pumping his arms
The only difference was at the end, when the losing manager shook the winning manager’s hand… I do hope that Arsene was paying attention to that little lesson in how to lose gracefully.
