Broadfield is certainly a confusing place these days. it is split into two borough council wards – Broadfield North and Broadfield South, and yet one of it’s two primary schools is called Broadfield East.
Now I find that, although the county council classes Broadfield as part of “West of Crawley” for the purposes of it’s area committee, Sussex Police class Broadfield as part of East Crawley for the purposes of the local policing teams.
Talking of the local area committee, the next meeting is on January 24th. I had carefully scheduled my leaving debauchery at work for that day so it would not clash with the local branch meeting of the Labour party, so I won’t be able to go this time.
