With the weather so changeable it is hard to stay under it – but we have managed! Jayne has had a particularly nasty cold-type thing, which led to her losing her voice (and also her job… she was temping in a job which required talking on the phone all the time)
As she has an interview on Monday, she has brought an entire chemist’s shelf of medication home to try and get capable by then.
It also meant that we stayed at home last night instead of going to Crawley’s civic ball. I have mixed feelings about that, but I am a little disappointed that I missed the opportunity to wear my dinner suit. I have not worn it since January 2004 and the other day I tried it on to see if it still fits. I was amazed to find that it was still comfortable. I didn’t realise I was such a fat git back in 2004!
Turn it into a positive – at least you haven’t put any weight on since! That’s three Xmas’. Impressive. 😉
