It only seems like yesterday that Charlie was a 7-year-old pyromaniac, but today I bought him his first suit for his graduation from school – and hopefully for interviews. He looks very grown up. It must be very strange for Jayne seeing him like that: I have only known him since he was 7, but she can obviously remember him when he was a premature baby weighing less than one pound with only a slim chance of survival.
I also got him a new shirt and tie to go with it and the whole lot was only twenty-five quid at TJ Hughes. Not a bad suit either: a lot better than you would expect for the price. I am hoping it was cheap because its end-of-line or surplus stock or something and not because of third-world slave labour…
