Reasons why I won’t be voting for Boris:
1. I don’t live in London
That makes any other reasons superfluous, but even if I did live there I wouldn’t vote for Boris if he was the only candidate. What does he know or care about London? The best you can say for him is that he isn’t Jeffrey Archer.
The only decent candidate amongst any of the suggestions the Tories have had is Shagger Norris. I would vote for him if he was the only candidate.
Has our celebrity-driven culture got to the point where they seriously expect someone to win just because they play the part of a buffoon on a few TV panel shows, despite the fact that they can’t even manage their own hair, let alone one of the world’s biggest and best cities?
Could be worse. How about Jade Goody, or the lovely Chantelle. She’ll need something to take her mind off Preston…
