Today’s most amusing scam e-mail purports to come from the Halifax bank. The fact that I don’t have an account with them is a bit of a giveaway actually, but this one stands out from the crowd.
The bit where it has a link which is highlighted and reads “Sing in to Online Banking” is only mildly amusing, and the bit where it says “Your account might be place on restricted status” is entirely typical, but the one thing which makes this bit of scummy phishing a real collectible is the huge headline at the top which says:
Dear Costumer
