Spot the difference

This month Crawley council unveiled its (slightly) controversial new logo.

The leader of the council says “we didn’t want to be too safe with the new logo and we wanted something that would stand out and that said something positive and distinctive about Crawley” Well it certainly stands out. Positivity is a bit subjective. Distinctive…? Let’s hope so, because the logo below is trademarked and MBNA can probably afford much better lawyers than Crawley Borough Council.

The Crawley Observer has nicked your ‘logo’ story this week, Skuds !

Free Crawley Observers for life, maybe ?!

I used to get it free anyway before I moved house. Do they still give it away in Southgate?

Anyway, I can’t help it if I keep my eyes open and spot things like that. Or like the upside-down cross in the graveyard. Or the tiny double-yellow lines. Or the short cycle lane.

I don’t mind if they look here for inspiration. I am more upset that they didn’t run my photos of the old County Mall sign when the O went missing 🙂

Never saw the Obs for free in Southgate. And the Crawley News hasn’t been delivered for months.

    Bring back Newsbreak, I say!
