John Angliss is plugging this band at the moment. Good find! But having listened to a few of their cover versions on MySpace I don’t know why John prefers The lunatics have taken over the asylum to the stunning version of Once in a lifetime.
I never realised how much the song could be improved by a Yorkshire accent.

Fantastic version, I see what you mean about the accent. I like the fact, as well, that it is so much less, well, frantic than the original! Although I now have a wicked urge to listen to some John Cooper Clarke

By coincidence, my CD of 100s of semi-random .wma files threw up some JCC on the way home today.
