BNP Rattled?

April 17th, 2008 · Posted by Skuds in Politics · 2 Comments · Politics

This evening somebody told me that, following the UAF’s visits to Bewbush, Ifield, West Green and Ifield West over the weekend to try and increase voter turnout at the elections, the BNP held a little protest at the Ifield shops.

I missed it of course, I was out with the UAF in Pound Hill at the time,  but I understand they were protesting about something to do with freedom of speech.  I don’t know what their point is – perhaps they want the freedom to promote themselves without anyone else having the freedom to challenge what they say?  If they give us a bit of warning next time I shall turn up and hear what they have to say, and exercise my freedom to disagree with it.
