The European cup final was close again.  How happy we were to see Ronaldo’s cocky penalty get saved, only for John Terry to cock up his chance to seal the victory and save Ronaldo from being the player to lose the game. I know that Ronaldo is an outstanding player, but just because he has a lot to be arrogant about doesn’t make his arrogance more endearing and for a few moments I was looking forward to the vicarious pleasure of seeing the smug grin wiped off his face. Ah well. Maybe next year.
