Wrong time to rain

I find hot weather quite uncomfortable so I’m quite happy for it to be overcast with the odd shower, but today is different.   Its Chrystal’s last day at school and we have to go and sit in the assembly hall for what will feel like hours while they all get their records of achievement and that sort of thing.

After that there is all sorts of socialising and photo-taking, with the kids all dressed up smartly.  While it would have been unpleasant sitting in  the hall in the sort of temperatures we have been getting this week, the rain we have been having this morning is going to make the rest of it a bit of it difficult.

I can’t believe I am sitting here waiting to go out and actually hoping for clammy, hot weather.
