Greetings from Our Northern Correspondent

This is Big Sis calling… Andrew has given me my very own log-in so I can add my own posts. Anyone would think that I had opinions!

However, you will have to wait to hear them as we are off to Paris tomorrow for a couple of days. We were there with the parents-in-law a couple of years ago and didn’t get a chance to get out to Giverney so this is the return trip. I find it quite liberating to return to a city – you’ve already done the obvious touristy stuff (Eiffel Tower, Versailles, Musee d’Orsay) so you can move off the beaten track a bit. Not that Giverney isn’t touristy but I cannot resist the combination of art and gardens. There is a strong risk of photos….
