Crawley Observer's page 7 from Sept 3rd 2008
Its a safe bet that any readers from outside of this corner of West Sussex are unlikely to have seen page 7 of this week’s Crawley Observer, so it is reproduced here as a public service.
This poor woman was attacked by her own dog and, in the words of the paper, had her face torn off. Even worse, it was her own dog, which she had to have destroyed afterwards. Surprisingly, of her two dogs it was the greyhound rather than the lurcher that did it.
Anyway, the paper treated the story with all due sympathy and without getting carried away. An effect only spoiled by the advert that ended up in the bottom-right corner underneath the story… (click on the picture to see it properly)
