Song with no title….

After only one very small cheat ( I am a bit anal with my photo folders and like them it proper alphabetical order but I hadn’t tidied them up for a few weeks so I sorted them before I chose the picture…) I found the 4th picture in my 4th folder.

Himalayan blue poppies by Jane

These are himalyan blue poppies and they are only a short-lived plant.  This plant died the year after it gave this display but it certainly went out with a bang – in the end there were about 25 blooms on it.  The colour is what I particularly love about this plant; it is so blue that it seems unnatural somehow.
