		<description>Well, beer doesn&#039;t keep as well as wine does (lower alcohol content for one), so it needs to be very well sealed. Temperature certainly is a problem. It also contains more dissolved gas than wines (and you don&#039;t get sparkling wines in a box), which means that it should be in a rigid container and kept relatively stable.

If it&#039;s still &#039;live&#039;, then there are even more issues, but even if it isn&#039;t there will be sediment.

You can, of course, get beer in a mini-barrel, which keeps it under pressure and you need to let it settle before you use it.

And quite a few pubs will let you buy a take-out in a plastic bottle or box, but it has to be drunk within a day and kept cool or it will go off.
