The wound seems to be getting better rather than worse. Might be able to skip the vets and just get a couple of bricks from the back garden to do the job.

He'll probably like having his back stairs swept a lot more than what the vet'll be doing....
I would say poor Rojo but I think he can look after himself pretty much.

How very dare you.

Who dear, me dear, no dear,

Just because a ginger tom likes a bit of Judy Garland you insinuate he likes the back stairs swept.

Oh dear Gordon. Your normal attention to detail is slipping a bit.
Can I draw your attention to the opening line "young Rojo has got in HIS first scrap". In fact 4 uses of "his" and one "him" in a very short post...

Also, if a cat is ginger then it is statistically more likely to be male. The maile/female ratio in ginger cats is 3:1

Mind you, he could also be ginger in the cockney rhyming slang use of the word and had an 'adult' encounter... we are an open-minded household.

If the cat is female then it may be that this was her first "adult" encounter as male cats very often when mounting bite the back of the females neck.
