I had been looking forward to back-to-back pub quizzes this week. Tomorrow there is a charity quiz at work, and tonight I was expecting the monthly quiz at Broadbridge Heath Village Centre, but it was not to be.Horsham Labour party have been going down there as a sort of social event, with the added bonus of a small boost to the funds if we win anything.  Now it looks like they have stopped doing the quiz, which is a shame. Had a quick beer and gossip about life, the universe and everything and came home unexpectedly early.
It would have been good to get warmed up before tomorrow when the IT department are hoping to do a bit better than last year’s poor showing.  We are already doing better because we haev a full team of six instead of the miserable four that we scraped together last time round.
We still haven’t decided on a team name though. “The IT Crowd” is far too obvious. I am still leaning towards calling ourselves “Have you tried turning it off and on again” if nobody else comes up with anything better.
