Ouch

April 26th, 2009 · Posted by Skuds in Life · 1 Comment · Life

My tiny car is now a tiny bit smaller.   I set out today to get signatures on my nomination papers for the forthcoming local elections and got rear-ended at some traffic lights.

I have had someone roll into the back of me in traffic queues before, with such slight a impact that there was not even a scratch on either car, but this time I really felt it.  Not only that but the back bumper is pushed in enough that I can’t open the boot any more.

At least we were both insured and both cars are still driveable, but looking at the motor now I wish I had stayed at home – especially as hardly anybody I called on was in and I am going to have to go back out again now.
