Sisters make people happy

April 6th, 2009 · Posted by Skuds in Life · 1 Comment · Life

I should probably mention this before my eponymous sister does – one of the news stories that did catch my eye while I was offline.  Apparently, and I’m sure Mother would have no arguments with this, “Sisters spread happiness while brothers breed distress” according to ‘experts’.Leaving aside the unanswered question of what these experts are expert in, there are two things that come out of this story:

1. I have been breeding distress since the 1960′s.
If ever I do anything deserving attention and have to write an autobiography I think that would make a good title.

But looking on the bright side…

2. I am happy and balanced because I grew up with sisters.
Shame about the collateral damage, but there you go ;)

I’ll give you collateral damage… (although it sounds like I already did!) Does this mean Charlie is only half as happy and balanced as you? Mary and I win though because we got happiness from each other to counteract the ‘damage’ from you!
The real question seems to be, can be you be classified as an expert in utter bollocks?
