I finally got round to calling the insurance company after last week’s prang. I had been waiting to hear from the lady who went in to the back of me, but she hasn’t been in touch, so I decided not to wait any longer. It turns out that my car is not driveable, despite me driving it all week. Apparently, because I can’t open the boot and access the spare tyre it can’t be driven.  I have a feeling I have driven that car for the last time because I can’t see the repairs coming in at less than the value of the car.
Looks like a good time to start using the bicycle again and revert to plan A of taking a CBT. Before Dad died, leaving a car that nobody else wanted, I was on the brink of doing a CBT because I reckoned a scooter would be enough for the small number of short journeys I do.  I have got used to having a second car now – but I don’t think it is too late to re-adjust to having just the one.

I had to look up CBT – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cbt
I was glad to find the answer with the 10th item on the list because both items 5 and 7 were worrying, for vastly different reasons.

Even more worrying… I have a feeling I have mentioned both of them here over the years…
