Delivery disaster. Nearly.

December 15th, 2009 · Posted by Skuds in Life · 1 Comment · Life

Today, when everybody was out,  I had a delivery from Amazon which was a bit too big to fit through the letterbox.  With Royal Mail this would normally mean a “while you were out” card and a trip to the sorting office.  With couriers it usually means a note saying there is a parcel in the bin cupboard, but not today.

Today it was a card from a courier compay saying they had delivered a parcel through the toilet window.  I think we can all see where this is going, do I really need to say what happens next?

We are going to start making sure that the window for our downstairs toilet is tightly shut in the future.  Or maybe we just need to make sure the lid is down.

I feel like putting a sign up saying ‘please do not attempt to throw packages over this gate’ — crunched items on other side frequently found.

But in the loo — ew. and yes, keep the lid down.
