Today was our youngest’s 18th birthday. As we were on the way to work I said to Jayne that she officially has no children any more, which is sort of true. It only seems like yesterday that she was a shy little 6-year-old and now she is driving around in her own car.
Tonight we took her to our local in Pease Pottage, sat down and sent her up to the bar for our drinks, where she was dead chuffed to be asked for ID. She later said that she feel old now. I don’t know what that makes me and Jayne.
