Jayne and I sat down to watch In Bruges this evening. What a fantastic film that is. Neither of us knew much about it: she didn’t know anything and I just knew it was about a couple of hit men hiding out in Bruges. It was violent in parts, but absolutely hilarious.
Bit of a bargain too – only twelve quid for that, The International and Wayne’s World 1 & 2.  I wonder if WW has aged well. It was very much of its time, but hopefully a few of the jokes will still wrok.

Vanity publishing at its worst) although I'm not particularly promoting anything, just describing and generally rambling for my own entertainment, but the whole Internet thing is such a grey area you have to be on the safe side don't you? There is always going to be some idiot who takes it all seriously. No names - you know who you are. Not that anyone reads all this stuff at the bottom anyway, not when there is more exciting stuff to do like watching paint dry...
...and the same goes for anything the sister writes here, not that she is writing much: come on Jane - pull your finger out!
