Yes, yes, all very exciting: a rejuventated Doctor, a renovated Tardis, and a shiney new companion with the promise of more Daleks, Cybermen and Crying Angels in future episodes, but……the new Doctor reminded me of somebody. The unruly hair, the square jaw, the slightly manic cast of his eyes. At times it seemed as much Doctor Feelgood as Doctor Who. As proof, here are some photos of Wilko Johnson, legendary guitarist with the best band to come out of Canvey Island ever.
