Time to admit to a yet another area of ignorance, a blind spot that I now feel thoroughly ashamed of.  For some reason I looked up Split Enz on Wikipedia and found that they released 9 studio albums. I thought they had only made one or two.What makes it more amazing is that I really quite like Crowded House, to the extent of having seen them a couple of times, having all their CDs, including the post-Hester one, as well as Neil Finn solo albums the 7 Worlds Collide DVD and Finn brothers’ CDs.
Oh well. You really do learn something every day don’t you?
There’s tons of great Split Enz songs on youtube- check them out! Here’s a personal favorite- it’s Neil Finn singing and to me it sounds almost like a Crowded House song.

Crowded House is one of my all-time favourites too, which is what makes my blind spot with Split Enz all the more surprising – they made 4 more studio albums than CH (until later this year) and I really know almost nothing about them.
