With any luck we will be moving soon.  We went to look at a place the other day and had decided even before we arrived that we would have it unless it turned out to be absolutely unsuitable. We spent about half an hour there and decided that it would do.
When I bought my first MP3 player I spent months doing comparisons of various makes and models before settling for the one I eventually bought. Give me a £20 HMV gift token and I could easily spend an hour browsing before spending it. When it comes to small things I can get wrapped up in the indecision of comparison shopping but when it comes to houses I tend to operate on impulse.
Same thing with cars. When we got the Mondeo I just knew we needed an estate car for all our camping gear so went to a used car dealer with a budget and drove off in the first car we found that fit the bill.

We are at the beginning stages of buying a place up here, although I have to say that we did spend a bit of time looking at it and others first.
Well it has falled through again. The other lot changed their mind about swapping.
To be honest I am a little relieved. The place was very small, only had one toilet – and cost £6 a week more than here.
I was prepared to move there as it would be better for Jayne’s hip, but would prefer something I could actually fit all my books into.
