Overdoing it

Last night I watched a documentary about Usain Bolt. It was OK, and Bolt seems like a nice bloke, but right at the end the programme makers went a little bit too far. There is a tendency for programme-makers to try and inject a bit of suspense, peril or conflict into any situation and in this case they ended by saying how the Olympics were just weeks away and will Usain Bolt become a legend.

Ahem. In 2008 he won three Olympic gold medals and broke the world record in all three events. I think it is safe to say that he could retire today and not turn up for the 2012 games and he would still be a legend.
