With all the to-ing and fro-ing to visit poorly relatives recently it made a change to go down to visit all the healthy ones tonight. My mother and sister both belong to a painting club and tonight they were having an exhibition in Southend to which we were invited.

The Isle of Wight has some fine roadsigns warning of ‘ducks in road’ or directing you to the dubious-sounding “landslip recreation park”.
