			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Hats off to Tom Watson for <a href="http://www.tom-watson.co.uk/?p=1818" target="_blank">pointing this out</a>!Â  It appears that his local (Tory) MEPs have a bit of trouble recognising their own constituency.<span id="more-1917"></span></p>
<p>Their website shows a nice photo of the Birmingham skyline.Â  Unfortunately the buildings in it are remarkably similar to those in downtown Birmingham, Alabama&#8230; Â  Tom has some links, but just in case the Tories wake up and correct their mistake, here are a couple of screenshots for posterity.<sup><a href="http://skuds.org/2008/01/an-easy-mistake/#footnote_0_1917" id="identifier_0_1917" class="footnote-link footnote-identifier-link" title="I&amp;#8217;ll be honest &amp;#8211; I haven&amp;#8217;t been to Brum for ages and I wouldn&amp;#8217;t have noticed, but then I don&amp;#8217;t claim to represent the place">1</a></sup></p>
